The BA.FI. Master's Programme aims to train specialists in the integrated management of risk, capital and liquidity, strategic planning for banks and insurance companies, and financial management.
The Master's Programme enables participants to acquire knowledge of advanced analytics and data science principles, understand regulatory developments and emerging trends in the prudential supervisory framework and the management of banks in crisis, and gain the tools and technical expertise required to measure and manage financial and non-financial risks, including ESG risk, cyber risk and misconduct risk.
In today's competitive and market environment, the Master's Programme has been redesigned and updated to enable participants to develop the professional expertise and practical skills essential for working in integrated risk management and sustainability (ESG framework).
Since its first edition, integrated risk management has been the main focus of the BA.FI. Master's Programme. In the global competitive market, this field is undergoing rapid development and facing significant regulatory pressure. It is being assigned new tasks and responsibilities, including the management of climate and environmental risks and cyber risks. It is increasingly involved in strategic planning, in guiding organisational change in response to strategic challenges arising from regulatory developments and a highly volatile market environment, and in addressing skills gaps within financial and non-financial organisations by promoting a culture of controls, risk awareness and sustainability.
Following a common core of training, the Master's Programme offers two specialist tracks (curricula):
